Powertec 4G-5G Wideband Grid Antenna, 698 to 4000 MHz, 4.3-10 Female
The Powertec Wideband Grid Antenna, model VGR-6940-20, is engineered to deliver high gain across the 3G, 4G, and 5G frequency bands, ranging from 698 to 4000 MHz. This grid parabolic antenna features a reverse-log feedhorn and a 900 x 600 mm reflector, achieving peak gains from 11.4 to 13.3 dBi on the low-band and up to 20.8 dBi on the 4G-5G mid-band. It is specifically designed for areas with weak or noisy signals, enhancing the input signal for cellular modems or Cel-Fi repeaters. Its narrow beamwidth makes it suitable for environments with multiple cell sites, allowing for isolation of a single tower. Additionally, the antenna can be mounted in a MIMO configuration to support high-speed data throughput.
The antenna is ideal for long-range communication systems, supporting 3G, 4G, or 5G technologies, and is particularly effective in providing high gain on upper frequency bands. This ensures optimal performance with 5G and LTE-A Pro Carrier Aggregation technologies. Weighing 2.2 kg, the antenna is designed for easy installation with a low wind-load, making it suitable for mounting at height. It includes a short cable tail with 4.3-10 Female or N Female Low PIM connectors, ensuring compatibility with various network setups.
